Journal about Gratitude: Fear and Self-Reliance

Do we desire to work alone (isolate) , or is better to build a network of work friends to lean on.  Reaching out to build accountability, we learn to exchange ideas, expand our knowledge base and create a great team of co-workers who really can achieve success together.

Which part of self have I been relying on that has failed me?

Getting back to basics and being totally honest with myself - things do not not always work the way I want. I have to acknowledge that I do not have total control over what happens in the future, and I have do not have total control over other people.  This is something I have to accept as truth.

How time unfolds. Feelings, beliefs and what actions people take.

Taking time to ask get inner guidance is a constant battle in this work-a-day world.  It takes self-discipline to set aside time to reflect in a journal. To do or not to do - an honest self assessment by attempting to reach your inner self when you need guidance.  Asking for guidance and reflecting on the result by writing about the impressions you get in a journal is a common method to test your decisions and to stay in sync at work and home.

Can I rely on myself and why not, what fears did you have?

Asking for and receiving feedback as a gift of knowledge. Working to accept criticism, in whatever form it takes.

Define criticism: the expression of disapproval of someone or something based on perceived faults or mistakes rather than receiving criticism as  ______?

All the daily decisions you make add up to a series of events that lead you from the time you wake up to the time you lay your head on the pillow.  And all those decisions really matter in every aspect of life.
